Some days are good, some days are bad. But that´s part of being human, and it is up to us how we choose to approach life´s happenings as well as how we respond to events. Say hello to a healthier, happier you!
Not only does it help us deal with the stress that modern life brings, it can actually improve our overall health and well-being. Basically, it´s all about acknowledging what we have and what we are grateful for, rather than pondering upon the things that we don´t have.
Set aside 10-15 minutes the moment you wake up, or implement it as a part of your night-time routine. We guarantee you that this ritual will influence your life in significant ways (positive, of course).
We have all heard it before, when life gives you lemons - make lemonade. Flexibility allows us to face life´s challenges and helps us adapt. This way, we can overcome these obstacles in a healthy manner. And today, perhaps more than ever, modern life demands and challenges us to be flexible: at work, at home, and in our relationships.
For example, try to let go. Let go of attachment, because whenever we are attached to something, we are by definition inflexible. In practice, this means that we do things our way, or we tend to control and force something to be “the way that we think it should be”. Flexibility makes room for creativity and innovation.
… an hour before bedtime, when you´re out for a evening stroll, or when you´re at a friends house. Whatever works for you. We love social media and the internet in general, but like it or not, our brains have been hijacked (whops). Getting offline does something to us. It teaches us how to really interact with people, how we interpret non-verbal cues, and how we read others. It also allows us to live in the moment, hopefully without the urge to “check our phones” (which we do anyway at least x times a day…). Most importantly, it allows us to see the beauty in life.
