Autumn is officially here! Here are three simple things to do today that can help you stay motivated throughout the week:
1. Get organized
It can´t be stressed enough, but staying organized is essential for a happier, healthier life. If you don´t have one already, get a planner asap, or keep maintaining your calendar - whether it´s a old-fashioned desk calendar or app-based. It´s not about planning and not being spontaneous, in fact, it´s all about effective time- management.
2. Practice gratitude
Not only does practicing gratitude help us deal with the stress that modern life brings, it can actually improve our overall health and well-being. Basically, it´s all about acknowledging what we have and what we are grateful for, rather than pondering upon the things that we don´t have.
Set aside 10-15 minutes the moment you wake up, or implement it as a part of your night-time routine. We guarantee you that this ritual will influence your life in significant ways (positive, of course).
3. Tie up loose ends (at the end of each day)
Whether you´re a student, an office worker, a stay-at-home parent, or a "solopreneur" - set aside at least 20-30min at the end of your day to tie up any loose ends. Go through any remaining work, make a to-do list for the following day, respond to e-mails, and quickly review what´s on the agenda for tomorrow (also known as mental preparation).
