There’s something about beginning a new month that truly inspires me. First of all, it reminds me of how quick the previous month went by and secondly it encourages me to reflect on the upcoming month.
We have become so easily caught up with everything and everyone else that we sometimes forget to acknowledge our own presence, needs and desires. So, we continue living everyday like any other day. Our lives end up being like a never-ending roller coaster of deadlines, assignments, agreements and meetings that have been planned by everyone else but ourselves.

Don’t we all want to be energized, working on what truly makes us happy and live
with intention and integrity?
As I mentioned earlier, beginning a new month excites and inspires me. We have a brand new thirty-one days ahead of us to create changes in our lives! And change doesn’t have to be anything drastic, any change is good. For instance, you would like to start reading again and would like to make reading a new habit. Thinking that it’s a new month will spark the motivation to start! New month, new habit!
If you’re like me, you might get overwhelmed with everything that you want to do.
This has not only caused me stress but also prevented me from taking the first step towards my goals.
So, I started writing everything down on paper and leave it somewhere I can see it.
This way, I am always reminded about the things I need and want to do. Writing down what I want to achieve and reflecting on my life in general has enabled me to move forward with confidence and determination. And even if things don’t go as planned, I can always go back to my list and remember why
